Can one travel from one country to another through the cinema screen? The young wannabe actor Vsevolod Ikonov leaves his homeland with a movie ticket and arrives in Vienna for a screening of a film in which he participated years ago. Between a thirst for freedom and a search for belonging, he wanders with a curious eye through a new world where prejudice and reality collide.
